Night cream: is it good for oily skin?
Despite what many people think, it is as important to hydrate oily skin than it is to hydrate dry skin. Oily skin comes from an excess production of sebum, which is not a moisturiser!
Excess sebum can be a sign of the deterioration of the skin’s functions, including in increase of water loss. This can lead to an under-hydrated skin with an excess secretion of sebum.
It is therefore important to hydrate oily skin, with day cream and night cream. To counteract the bad effects of excess sebum, it is even more important to deeply cleanse oily skin before applying night cream.
Garnier has developed many skin care products for oily skin. Formulated with ingredients such as white clay and zinc that matify the skin or salicylic acid that purifies, Garnier’s skin care products for oily will give a matte finish and a healthy glow to the skin.
